TUEV TEST AND APPROVAL You ride safely with aluminium wheels of ProLine Wheels!
It is understood that each wheel of the ProLine Wheels brand has been tested by TUEV and approved for road traffic.
The most important TUEV tests are: Wheel bending test In the wheel bending test the lateral forces exerted on the wheel when driving on curves is simulated. Each aluminium alloy wheel is fixed rigidly on the test bed at the wheel rim flange using a clamping ring and is subjected to peripheral bending moment over the wheel contact surface. Wheel rolling test In the wheel rolling test the stresses on the wheel when it is moving in a straight line or on curves are simulated. Impact test This test simulates the contact with the kerbside and a wedge-shaped hammer is struck once on the spoke and once on the valve for this purpose. Driving test This test consists of testing each motor vehicle available in the market with the different wheels. In the process, the wheel rim offset, tyres and constraints are specified.
PROLINE ALUMINIUM ALLOY WHEELS IN WINTER TOO? Basically, no aluminium alloy wheels are produced exclusively for use in winter. The suitability for winter use (protection against salt and stone chips) is determined by the quality of the clear lacquer. For this purpose ProLine Wheels use a special high-quality paint, which withstands the harsh conditions during winter. If you follow our tips for wheel maintenance, you would be pleased with the aluminium alloy wheels of ProLine Wheels for a long time.
CLEANING, CARE AND STORAGE Please avoid the use of aggressive chemicals, abrasive cleaners and paint thinners. Such chemicals and substances can damage the surface of your aluminium alloy wheel and ruin their appearance considerably.
You can get specially developed cleaning agents and cleaning cloths in any retail store offering a wide variety of such items.
Please heed the following when using these wheels during winter: Prior to mounting the wheel please satisfy yourself that the lacquer, which, amongst others, is responsible for the protection of your aluminium alloy wheel, does not show any signs of damage. Damages, for example, caused by contact with kerbstones or broken stones, can be easily repaired in most cases. Before using your aluminium alloy wheels for the first time, please have them checked and, if required, handled by experts, since this is well worth it! Please take note of and follow our recommendations and there would be no concerns about using the wheels during wintertime.
Before storing your aluminium alloy wheels, for example, in winter, you should thoroughly clean the wheels. Dry storage conditions are strongly recommended.
We wish you a good driving experience at all times and plenty of happiness and satisfaction with aluminium alloy wheels of ProLine Wheels!
